Cusco LSDs are plated limited-slip differentials designed and manufactured in Japan. Their range caters mostly to Japanese vehicles with a few select European marques. We only supply their maximum performance LSDs, the RS range, and the Pro Adjust RS range. Both are highly reliable and fully adjustable enabling maximum performance without the worry of component failure.

Cusco produce LSD’s for the following Marques: BMW, Daihatsu, Fiat, Honda, Lexus, Lotus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota.

Both the Cusco RS and Cusco Pro Adjust RS feature multiple metal to metal friction plates, and coil springs that apply preload to assist the locking of the differential. Metal to metal plates provide excellent locking capabilities whilst resisting wear. A unique feature not found in other differentials is the coil springs that apply preload. Instead of applying compression forces to resist the locking of the differential, they apply compression forces in the opposite direction. This assists in locking the differential, and heavily reduces wear. Wear is reduced as the coil springs extend under locking, rather than compress. As the springs don’t compress past their resting point, their service life is extended greatly and the preload stays constant.

Whilst ramp angles can be selected for both versions of differential, the Pro Adjust RS features a wide range of adjustable angles. The acceleration ramp options are: 25, 35, 45, 55, and 65. The deceleration ramp angles are 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75, and 90. This allows ramp angles to be tailored to the individual circuit.

Ramp angles offered in the Cusco RS range are fixed, although some ramps have two options to allow for adjustability depending on the use of the vehicle. A lookup grid is provided to show ramp angles options.

We offer custom set up for Cusco LSDs in order to get the most out of your differential. This involves altering the locking characteristics to suit your driving style, vehicle modifications and type of use.

Cusco LSDs have part number as follows : LSD XXX X . The XXX refers to the dimensions and fitment of the LSD. The last X designates ramp angle.
